Hardware used in aluminium doors and windows

Let us paint the following picture. You have new windows and doors installed at your home, it all looks great, but the hardware isn’t very good. The door doesn’t open smoothly, the locks are flimsy and you are unhappy with the security it is giving you.

Now let us paint the same picture but with aluminium windows and doors. They again look brilliant with aluminium having superb sight lines, but instead of lousy locks and additional hardware, you have snap secure locks, the very highest levels of quality and the door works like a dream.

Whilst the first painting is an option that occur quite often, the second painting is something that happens all the time. As you are aware a door will not function without quality hardware and with aluminium doors and windows, the hardware is of the very highest of standards.

In a residential door, most of the hardware centres round a multi-point locking system. Despite technological advancements which can allow for electronic opening and closing, the quality of the initial multi-point hardware is vital.

On all aluminium doors and windows, strict police and industry approval standards must be met which guarantees that your door looks good and is secure. The locking system will have to meet BS7950 for windows and PAS 24 for doors. At Clear View all doors come with Anti-Bump, Anti-Pick, Snap Secure, Kitemarked high security locks as standard and additional multiple locks can be added should you require.

By using the very best hardware, Clear View are then able to guarantee a longer functionality length of your doors which should not only allow you to use your sliding, patio or bifolding doors more frequently and have to maintain them less; a win-win situation.
