Leading curtain wall specialist Clearview, recently completed a major project for Energy Solution Company, Prontex of Wakefield.
The first phase of the project was to meet the client Prontex’s and undertake a free site survey to establish their exact requirements for the new extension.
There were a few challenging areas to deal with, however with precise attention to detail and the expertise of the technical department at Clearview solutions were put forward.
A clear architectural plan was then drawn up to identify the project requirements and provide a detailed quote.
Once the order was signed and the site plans finalised, a project manager was assigned to manage the implementation of the project within the agreed timescales and budgets.
Clearview then manufactured, supplied and installed a wide range of aluminium frames and glazing products including:
– Aluminium curtain wall system
– Aluminium swing doors
– Additional door with side lights
– Aluminium frames
– Glazing
– Internal doors
– Handles & accessories
Whilst the framing was constructed from Senior Architectural system 100mm, the doors were built using a none-thermally broken commercial SD door system.
All windows and doors were glazed with 6mm clear toughened glass, which featured a 16mm argon filled cavity for increased insulation.
Commenting on the project, Paul Oxley, managing director at Clearview added, “Although it was a challenge to marry the new framing with the existing system, detailed planning ensured the project went smoothly. Fortunately we also got some great weather, so the project was completed on time and on budget. Needless to say the customer was pleased with the quality of our products and the professionalism our engineers showed whilst on site”
